CWP Requirement

In order to apply for a CWP Certification you must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a member in good standing of the IWA.
   • A member is ineligible if they are in violation of the IWA Code of Ethics
2. Have an Active/Paid IWA membership.
   • Visit https://mc.iwanet.org/ to join or renew your membership
3. Experience:
   1. CWP Associate – No experience required.
   2. CWP Specialist – Candidates must work full-time for a period of two (2) years in a given specialization as one of the following: practitioner, reviewer or supervisor within the last five (5) years.
   3. Master CWP Specialist – Candidates must work full-time for a period of five (5) years in a given specialization as one of the following: practitioner, reviewer or supervisor within the last nine (9) years.
